Sheba

It was fun to work with Elmwood on animation work for Sheba. I animated the logo in a quite a few different ways, but I think the most interesting one was this method to reveal the letters in a style that looked like the rough tongue of a cat licking the leading edge. It was made in After Effects using a great plugin called 'BAO Mask Brush':

This is the wordmark with the 'Resistance is Futile' tagline beneath it:

The 'Resistance is Futile' tagline is full screen here with two versions. The first has the text reveal with full thickness from the start, the second starts off very thin and tapered as it fills out, which looks more tail-like:
